Ščučyn (pronounced "Shchoochyn") is the centre of the
Ščučyn district,
Hrodna region, about 68 km East of Hrodna, 7 km of Razanka, a station on the railway line
Vaukavysk-Lida.
Population: 16,700 (1995)
